In 2015, I graduated with a teaching credential and a master's in education with many ideas on how to create lesson plans, manage a classroom, and assess student learning. Yet, I knew next to nothing about educational philosophy. After my second son was born in 2017, by God's grace, I was introduced to Charlotte Mason. I spent the next several years poring over Mason's six volumes detailing her educational philosophy. I quickly realized that her ideas would change my life, and profoundly impact the life of my family. I have a heart for putting mamas in touch directly with Charlotte's own words - to help others experience the fruit and freedom of implementing Mason's philosophy. My prayer is that this site can help others make meaning of Mason's words and help families to understand her philosophy in its entirety.
